All of us had read this classic when we were much younger but we decided to read it again after the release of Go Set a Watchman and for most of us, To Kill A Mocking Bird is still one of our favourite books of all time so we would strongly recommend giving this another read and even more a ‘must read’ if you have never done so.

Originally published in 1960 To Kill A Mocking Bird uses warmth and humour to deal with the issues of rape and racial inequality in America. A Pulitzer Prize winner the novel has become a classic of modern American literature. And reading it again is a delight!
For those of us who read Go Set A Watchman we were bitterly disappointed with this one, but again it could make a good talking point to read both.
